Sauteed Fresh Spinach and Onions

Great side dish that adds practically no calories!

  • 1 bag fresh Spinach leaves
  • 1 medium sized chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic with juices
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste

Coat a non-stick pan with Olive Oil cooking spray.  Heat pan on medium heat.  Add garlic, garlic juices, and onions to the pan.  Saute 3-5 minutes until the onions begin to brown.  Add the spinach.  Stir continuously.  Cook for 5 minutes or until the spinach leaves are soft and all ingredients are well mixed.

You can also add fresh mushrooms to this recipe!
